Cook announces candidacy for Akron Municipal Court
AKRON - Katarina Cook announced her candidacy for judge of the Akron Municipal Court. For more than four years, Cook served as magistrate of the Akron court personally handling nearly 25,000 cases. During her tenure as magistrate, she implemented new programming for people to obtain and maintain their drivers licenses. (full story)
Report: Tax reforms improved business climate
Tax reforms enacted in Ohio five years ago are working well, according to a new report. Despite a poor economy for the past year and a half, evidence that the new tax reforms are working to improve the state’s economy exists, according to the report compiled by Underwood & Associates.
